Healthy Walking
This class teaches awareness of walking habits and empowers you to improve your posture by improving the way you walk. By experiencing efficient use of your joints and muscles, you can change habits that prevent your walking from being graceful, easy and efficient.

The New Rules of Posture Series
This 4-part workshop presents principles and exercises from The New Rules of Posture. The class is designed to help you gain understanding of your individual posture habits, including habits induced by the stress of daily living. Students will learn specific ways to improve posture and apply the learning to basic asana practice.

Core Strength and Breathing
This class addresses two common causes of pain and poor posture: poor breathing habits and poor abdominal control. You learn how correct use of your abdominal muscles stabilizes your spine, preventing low back pain, and how abdominal exercise, done incorrectly, actually worsens posture. The class includes exercises designed to develop healthy breathing habits and correct abdominal tone.

The Heart's Messengers: The Anatomy of Giving and Receiving
This workshop explores the way habitual movements of the shoulders, arms and hands affect the posture and function of the whole body.

Healthy Walking
Intended primarily for fitness professionals, this workshop examines optimal coordination of walking as a basis for designing exercise programs. Also suitable for experienced practitioners of yoga or Pilates.
